If you have a serious thing for multiple gadgets in one when it comes to the things you place on your desk, this 4-in-1 webcam combines plenty of gadgetry. It also has nice bendy arms to get each individual part in its perfect spot for your comfort. There is a bit of a down side though, to get the microphone close enough to your mouth, the webcam would be broadcasting up your nose. Which isn’t a huge deal, it just means if you want to use the microphone, you’ll have to flip off the webcam.
In addition to the webcam and microphone it also has a fan as well as a light attached to it. The LED lights also have a dimmer switch, to make the bright white lights a bit less harsh. It would definitely clear space for people with all four of those gadgets on their desk. Hopefully the fan is powerful enough for those overly sweaty moments. It is currently being sold on Brando for $23. Which means all of the gadgets aren’t likely to be the highest of quality.

It has been a while since we have written about the eStarling Digital Photo Frame, but they have made some recent advancements that are worth talking about all over again.
The latest 8-inch digital photo frame from eStarling’s is Wi-fi capable, but that really isn’t anything new. What is new is that the frame is made for Facebook support. All a user has to do is provide his or her username and password, and when his or her friends upload their pictures, they will be automatically downloaded directly into the frame with a resolution of 800×600 pixels.
All this will insure that the content on the frame is constantly changing, without having to hook it up to the computer and do the constant downloading and erasing that usually occurs when updating digital picture frames. You can download through a memory card slot that supports MMC, SD, MS, and CF formats.
Another terrific feature is the frame’s ability to allow the user to email the pictures, even when on the move. It even comes with some spam-blocking software in order to prevent the frame from getting email from unauthorized email addresses.

If there ever was a useless USB peripheral (unless making you laugh in a juvenile manner for the first 10 seconds is counted as something useful), the USB Crunching Dogs will fall in the same category as its predecessor, the much more crude USB Humping Dogs.
These Crunching Dogs do endless sit-ups when you plug them into your USB port. Do they ever stop? No. Is there an off switch? Nope. However there is some kind of satisfaction to be had at watching a tiny dog tirelessly exercising on your behalf. It almost makes us want to leap from our desks, forgo electronics and computers and start doing jumping jacks… but then again that’s where the trouble started with the Humping Dogs.

According to the Radius site, the Atomic Bass is the “Official Headphone of the Hip-Hop Genre”. That has got to be one of the toughest slogans to prove, and I highly suggest they test its tonal balance on several hip-hop artists before they make that claim.
However, after listening for myself, I definitely hear how good they are. The clear sound might have something to do with its unique shape. You can’t really see the angle in this photo, but it causes the headphone to penetrate the ear deeper. It almost feels like an ear plug the way it can cut off background noise.
The headphones also have another unique look. Normally, when headphones branch out, the sections are equal. The Atomic Bass has a unique U-style of cable, and so one is not equal length, yet each earphone can fit either ear. It can fit normally in the ear, or rotate the earphone pieces back so they rest on the outer ear.

I suppose those were the days where everywhere we went were pretty clean as folks had a higher degree of civic consciousness, putting chewing gum where it belongs instead of being a sidewalk hazard to strollers and joggers. ArchPort Shoes aims to literally take one step at a time by incorporating a cell phone into their shoes sometime down the road, but they are still a long way off from there at the moment. Wouldn’t want you to have chewing gum stuck to your hair now, do we?
At the moment, ArchPort Shoes have managed to include a wallet feature into the range of ArchPort sandals and athletic shoes, where the wallet’s is located in the sole. I guess I’ll never look at shoes the same way again.

No, this swinging USB microSD memory card reader doesn’t go around fornicating with just about any other memory cards in the market, but is faithful to just the microSD format throughout it’s lifetime. Dubbed the Magic Swing Alpha, it is available in the Korea market and is marketed primarily as a 3G cell phone charm. I have absolutely no idea how much this will cost, but judging by just how cheap memory card readers are in the market these days, this shouldn’t even cause a noticeable dent in your finances.

NTT DoCoMo has just released its new FOMA SH706i handset, and what makes this different from what you’ve seen so far in the past is the Symbian operating system. This new handset will begin shipping in Japan today, and chances are it won’t function outside of the Land of the Rising Sun. Just in case the FOMA SH706i sounds familiar to certain quarters, that’s because a whole lot of cell phone from Japan do share similar sounding model numbers in addition to the insane amount of features found within. after much speculation on what the latest Sidekick device from T-Mobile will be called, the carrier decided to just name it Sidekick, plain and simple. There won’t be any other code name attached to it, bringing us back to the basics. You will be able to choose to fit one out of two shells that come with each Sidekick purchase – black and metallic green. There will also be a wide range of pre-designed shell patterns and colors for you to pick up at T-Mobile retail stores or online, and I’m pretty sure we won’t have to wait for long until someone with an excess amount of Swarovski crystals and super glue decide to bling up their Sidekick. Granted, other luxury labels might also think of blinging this up with diamonds and precious jewels, but that’s another story for another day. The biggest challenge an instant print company like Polaroid would have in the digital age is how to keep it’s unique and interesting niche in an ever competitive market and not look like just another digital camera company. With Pogo, Polaroid may be doing just that.
At 8 ounces in size, the Pogo Pocket Printer prints tiny 2”x3” digital prints with sticker backings directly from a digital camera or even cellphone through an interesting process that is both wireless and inkless.

Using Bluetooth, it can connect directly to your cellphone and print a full color image in about a minute. It can do so in an inkless fashion thanks to the Zink photo paper which keeps to the spirit of Polaroid instant print style through millions of tiny heat activated crystals which create the color image. The photos are waterproof, tear proof and smear proof. And only time will tell if they’re fade proof.

I think we all know that people just want their lives on the Internet, and they will gladly paste their photos and videos on their MySpace and FaceBook pages without any regards to the consequences.
This is why the Camoria has been developed. The Camoria is an over-the-ear digital camera that is designed to put your life in the form of pictures. Of course, there is no way that you can get your own face in the shots, unless you stand in front of mirror.
Right now, the Camoria is a concept device by German designer Akbiyik Vokan. Information that I got about the Camoria is very sketchy, so I don’t know how much memory it has, or how long the battery will last.
I have a proposal as to how it could be better. Make it so the Camoria can be charged and automatically download its pictures or videos at the same time. Better yet, make it so it will automatically download its footage in chronological order directly to the user’s social networking site.
I’m not certain that I am ready for a future where every person has a Camoria. Because when I talk to someone wearing one, I will wonder if I am going to see a video of this on their site later, with their commentary.

A few months ago, Casio introduced the EX-Z9, and I had a chance to try it out. The camera has 8.1 megapixels of image resolution, and has a 3x optical zoom.
I was amazed that it worked so easily from out of the box. I was ready to take pictures as soon as it was done charging on the included charging station. Easy is definitely the rule as the EX-Z9 was clearly designed with the consumer in mind.
One of the best features is the YouTube Capture mode, which allows videos to be recorded and then uploaded onto the famous video clip site in just three simple steps.
The 2.6 inch wide LCD allowed me to go through operations, and there was an alarming 23 Best Shot Modes, with categories such as Fireworks and Pets. In other words, the company figured out what people are photographing, and designed a camera around it.
Other features include the Anti Shake DSP to reduce photo blur, as well as the Easy Mode that can simplify the camera settings to three easy menus (image size, flash, and self timer). The Face Detection technology also makes it easier to take pictures than ever.
See what I meant earlier about the EX-Z9 being easy? Maybe they should have named it the EZ-X9. By the way, it was also easy to upload photos to the computer. All you need to do is plug it in and the computer recognized them like a thumb-drive.
If easy is what you want, than easy is as the EX-Z9 does. The Casio EX-Z9 is available now for $159.99, and comes in pink, black, silver, and orange.

Nikon has just released the D700 digital SLR camera for the masses, and this will be a huge step up for those who originally stepped foot into the world of dSLRs, starting with the entry level D40. In the tech industry, I find myself with lots of flash drives lying around my desk, press releases and information is being given more frequently on flash drives than in the form of paper folders. Some of the drives I get have the company name on them; some don’t which makes it hard to remember what data is on them until you plug them in. Comogadgets has a new flash drive that could make it easy to tell at a glance who gave a particular flash drive to customers or press. The drive has a LCD display on it that can display the company’s logo in a flashing, attention grabbing way. Capacity is up to 4GB and the weight of the drive is less than 30g. The display is powered by a solar panel on the drive. Looks to be a bit wider than a normal USB drive though.
